In CETIM we organize the Innovative Public Purchase and Pre-Commercial Public Purchase Conference as tools for innovation in the construction sector next Thursday, October 3 at our headquarters in Culleredo (A Coruña). During this event we will have renowned speakers, both from the public and private sectors. The deadline for registration is Monday, September 30.
Patricia Argerey, Director of the Galician Innovation Axencia (GAIN) will open the conference. Next, Teresa Riesgo, General Director of R&D of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Sergio Capitán, Head of the Office of Innovative Public Purchase of CDTI, and Luisa Boquete, Director of Innovation Programs of the GAIN. They will explain the experiences and future opportunities that their respective entities will open in terms of innovative public procurement as a support tool for the market implementation of companies’ R&D.
Next, the panel of reference companies in the construction sector will open José Antonio de Apraiz, Territorial Director of the Northwest area of OHL, with the success story of CPI CUBIPOD. He will explain the proposal, its development and the lessons learned by the company in public procurement tenders.
The panel of private companies will conclude the Round Table Innovation, Industry and Market, where Rosalía Noguerol, our head of Advanced Materials, will moderate the debate between Joan Peset, Head of the Department of R&D of COMSA, Miguel Ángel París, Head of Project and Sustainable Building Area of ACCIONA, Javier A. Vázquez, President of ABN Group, and Pere Borralleras, Technical & Marketing Manager of BASF Construction Chemicals, on innovation and market arrival in the sector.
Carlos Martínez, Managing Director of the Spanish Technological Platform for Construction, will close the presentations with his talk PTEC’s role on the construction sector.
The day will be closed by the Mayor of Culleredo, Mr. José Ramón Rioboo Castro.
