CETIM organizes the webminar “How the Circular Economy can position you in your sector” next Tuesday, November 9, from 9.30 to 10.30 a.m.
Researchers from the Centre will explain the strategies necessary to position companies within the framework of the circular economy, in key sectors such as the plastics sector, agri-food and waste management, water and new technologies.
The system of producing, using and disposing that has been dominant since the industrial revolution is giving way to a system based on the circular economy, in which waste becomes raw material. Therefore, more and more companies and industries are joining this new system. In addition, its economic and strategic importance requires its implementation in new business models and processes.

On November 9, experts from the CETIM Technology Centre will unravel the keys to the circular economy in strategic sectors:
- Circular economy in the plastic sector. Dr. Marcos Sánchez, principal investigator in Polymers and coatings.
- Bioprocesses for the circular economy in agri-food, mining and waste management. Dra. Cristina Martínez, head of the ECO BIO Technologies area.
- Circular economy in the water sector. Dr. Isaac Fernández, Principal Investigator in Water and Air Treatment Technologies.
- Digital Twins and Blockchain: disruptive ICT technologies for the circular economy. Federico Macció, Digital Industry Technician.
Discover how to position your company within its sector thanks to the implementation of the circular economy.
