Renewable gases:

  • Technologies for the production of renewable gases from organic streams. Biogas, biohydrogen.

Electrochemical storage:

  • Synthesis of active and inactive materials (binders, coatings, etc.) for the different components of electrochemical cells (lithium ion, sodium ion, etc.) from synthetic, recovered (CRMs) and sustainable materials. Development of components: anodic and cathodic electrodes, electrolytes and separators.
  • Cell assembly: semi-cells and complete coin and pouch cells (up to 15 Ah).
  • Electrochemical testing with 300 channels of capacity: cyclic voltammetry, CC-CV (constant current-constant voltage), C-rate, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, intermittent galvanostatic titration and tests at different temperatures with climatic chamber.

  • Digital Twins for process optimisation, predictions or parameter variation. Artificial Intelligence simulation models for pattern identification in historical data.
  • Sensor network systems for parameter control, selective waste separation and on-line analysis based on photonic techniques, Artificial Vision or IoT. Process automation and robotic devices.
  • Blockchain for traceability control and certification of origin.
