Next Wednesday, November 3, CETIM Technological Centre will attend the gala of the I Contest of Innovative Materials of Galicia in which the selected ones in this first edition will be announced. The event, organized by the Galician Innovation Agency, is held on the World Materials Day.

One of the finalist candidates selected in the Entreprise & Research category is the project “Cold bituminous mixture additives with nanocellulose (alternative bio-pavement to conventional asphalt)”. The project, which arose from CETIM’s knowledge of both lignocellulosic and construction materials, is led by the company Misturas, Obras y Proyectos. The UDC’s Roads, Xeotecnia and Materials Group also collaborates with MISTURAS and CETIM Centro Tecnológico.

The event will take place at CIS Tecnología y Diseño (Ferrol), Materioteca de Galicia headquarters, and can also be followed in streaming.
