Our Advanced Materials research area is looking to strengthen its team with a PhD specialized in chemical recycling processes and polymer synthesis. We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and decisive person, with high interest in promoting new R&D projects, and with experience in chemical recycling routes of thermoplastic polymers (supercritical water, radical initiators, organic solvents in supercritical conditions…) and thermosets (glycolysis…), as well as the synthesis of new thermoplastic (PE, PP…) and thermosetting (urethanization…) polymeric specialties and their characterization (GC-MS, IR, TGA, DSC, GPC, MALDI-TOFF…).

In the job offered the main responsibilities will be: participation in the management of individual and consortium R&D projects, planning and execution of laboratory research work with its corresponding developments, characterizations and interpretation of results for R&D projects in execution, the approach of ideas and new projects related to the interest of the line and their assembly, and participation in the preparation of technical reports for the application of R&D projects to different regional, national and international calls.
