Among the speakers will be representatives of the University of Girona, Sacyr, Aqualia, the LEITAT technology center and researchers from the CETIM Technology Center.

Next Tuesday, March 8th, CETIM will organize an Online Workshop of the LIFE GREEN SEWER project. The theme of this event will be focused on membrane technologies, with particular attention to direct osmosis, for the treatment, regeneration and recovery of water resources.

In addition to CETIM researchers, we will have the participation of other experts in water treatment and regeneration with direct osmosis and other membrane technologies. They will share their perspective and success stories from a wide variety of sectors: universities, water cycle managers, technological centres, etc. Thus, Gaetan Blandin from the University of Girona; Raúl Cano Herranz and José Ramón Vázquez Padín, from Aqualia; Patricia Terrero, from Sacyr; Xialei You Chen, from the technological centre LEITAT; and our colleague from CETIM, Isaac Fernández; will be the speakers.

LIFE GREEN SEWER – Innovative Secondary Wastewater Treatment with Resource Recovery is a European project co-funded by the European Commission under the LIFE program. Grant Agreement No. LIFE17 ENV/ES/000341. The consortium is formed by CETIM, Multisectorial Research Technological Centre as project coordinator and also counts with the participation of four other partners: Empresa Mixta de Augas de Ferrol, S.A. (EMAFESA), Magtel Operaciones S.L.U. (MAGTEL), SOCAMEX S.A.U. (SOCAMEX) and Universitat de Barcelona (UB).
